Win a camera in our photo competition

We love pictures of our borough and would love you to share yours on our new Instagram account – a social media site for sharing images.
To celebrate its launch we’ve teamed up with Canon UK to offer a top prize of an Ixus 155 compact digital camera in our photo competition. To take part all you need to do is:
- log onto www.instagram.com
- follow the council’s new account @love_reigateandbanstead
- post photos of your favourite parks or countryside areas in the borough
- tag them @love_reigateandbanstead
- use the hashtag #lovereigateandbanstead
The competition closes on Sunday 7 September 2014, with the winner will be announced later that month.
So if you have some great pics of our open spaces that you’d like to share, why not have go?

If you’re after some inspiration of good places to photograph, are new to the area or simply want to explore more of the beautiful countryside around you, we produce a handy free Countryside Guide to help you discover some of the borough’s hidden gems.
If you’d prefer to have an expert on hand as you investigate our wildlife and beautiful open spaces, join one of our guided walks, led by our knowledgeable Countryside Rangers. Our latest Guided Walks programme is available as a free download from our website. From a tree walk in Priory Park to a bat walk at Earlswood Lakes, there’s plenty of variety on offer.
