Focussing on business
Proposed land for employment in Horley
One of the Councils key priorities is to promote the borough as a great place to do business and provide commercially attractive premises and business infrastructure, to deliver economic benefits for the borough and its residents through increased investment and the provision of jobs.
Studies have shown that there is a strong demand for a high class office-based business park for which currently there is limited supply. The Council has developed a proposal a business park on land south of Horley to provide space for existing businesses who wish to expand or to attract businesses wishing to locate to the area.

As the latest class of 2015 graduates from our Entreprenur Academy we are looking for experienced business mentors to support them as they begin their business jouney.
Can you help?
A catering opportunity has arisen in Redhill connected to the redevelopment of the Warwick Quadrent site by the Council, Sainsburys and Aviva.
Timescale: From January 2016 to February/March 2017.
Initially there will be 40-50 people working on the site, this will increase to 200 plus by May 2016. Food will need to be provided for, breakfast, lunch and mid morning and mid afternoon snacks five and a half days a week.
The developer is offering an equipped kitchen (with the opportunity to influence some specification), and eating area with all utilities included rent free. The catering unit will sit within other facilities offering a well equipped and pleasant environment for site staff.
Merstham Job fair coming is up on Saturday 7 November from 10am to 2pm at Canada Hall, Merstham.
