Welcome

Find out what the Reigate & Banstead Communications team has been working on this month...

... and, perhaps more importantly, how you can support these campaigns and issues as Council Members.

What are our spending priorities?

The Council has begun a consultation to find out local communities’ spending priorities for the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Local Fund.

We request Councillor's assistance to encourage your communities to complete the survey with their priorities and project suggestions.

Our social media posts have had good engagement so far and over 280 people have completed the survey! However we'd like as many views as possible before the closing date of 13 October.

If you have any questions or need further information, please email CIL or call 01737 276178.

Join us at the Waller Studio launch night!

The Harlequin's cinema - now called Waller Studio - is reopening in time for half term and we'd love you to join us at a special launch event on Friday 25 October.

All Councillors have been invited for a Prosecco and popcorn reception from 4.45pm, followed by a screening of Oscar-winning film Bohemian Rhaspody

Please RSVP, if you haven't already done so, to harlequinmarketing@reigate-banstead.gov.uk

For more details about Waller Studio, read our press release.

Lucy Rispin - currently an account director at London-based integrated brand communications agency Ogilvy Health - joins the Communications Team as its new manager on 19 November.

She brings a wealth of experience in delivering integrated communications strategies, crisis management and team leadership.

Lucy will be at future Leaders meetings and will also be getting to know Portfolio Holders over coming months.

We will share her contact details in a future newsletter.

Help us communicate better

We'd be grateful if you could continue to promote our Borough News Autumn issue, and most specifically, our reader survey.

A copy of the magazine was placed in every Councillor's pigeon hole, but can also be downloaded online. The survey - which should take less than 10 minutes to complete - can also be found in the magazine or online, and closes on 21 October.

Please share our social media posts, where appropriate. We hope that the results will help us to improve the way we communicate to our residents in the future.
