Heritage Open Day
Not long now
As you may be aware, the Town Hall is opening its doors to the public on Saturday 21 September for Heritage Open Day. We'd appreciate your help in spreading the word to our residents.
Members of the public will be able to wander the corridors of our 118-year-old building, explore the fuselage of a World War 2 Lancaster bomber and meet the Mayor in the Parlour, where they will also be able to see the Mace and Charter. There will be a number of classic cars to view outside, as well as a pop-up cafe and an activity pack for kids.
Help us to make this a great day for everyone, and to showcase the fantastic history of our Council.
For more information and details of other open days and events across the borough (and beyond), see the Heritage Open Days website.
