Frightful fun in Furzefield Wood
Children aged seven to 12 (priority given to children from homes in RH1 3 postcode) are invited to go bravely into the woods with Laura from Surrey Wildlife Trust for some spooky fun. Carve a pumpkin, make a twig skeleton and much more. Extra treats for children in fancy dress.

Halloween frightful beast fest
Enjoy some spooky goings on in Priory Park. Walk the woodlands with our residents witch, knocking on the fairy doors and spotting as many of the wood's spooky inhabitants as possible. We will then head down to the glade next to the lake for some bug hunting and potion making. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Film: Extra Spectre
Harlequin Theatre and Cinema, Warwick Quadrant, Redhill, RH1 1NN
007 returns in Spectre at the Harlequin. This special showing includes a Prosecco and canapé reception (and a Martini) prior to the film showing.
Tickets for Extra Spectre event, £14.50. Spectre will also be shown from 26 October. Tickets for these regular showings are £5-£7.50. Showings including subtitled, audio description, silver screen and baby club screenings.

Pillage the Village and StreetEats
Reigate shops and stores open their doors to the little pillagers of Reigate for trick or treating in their costumes. Participating shops will have orange and black balloons at their entrances and treats inside their store. Local charity Loveworks also invites you to donate an item to its food bank in exchange for your Pillage the Village bag. Visit their stall by the Old Town Hall.
Street food will also be on sale in Tunnel Road.

Meet at Pistachio’s in the Park, Avenue Road, Banstead, SM7 2PA
Leisurely walk in and around Banstead lasting one to one and a half hours. Walking boots are not required but bring sensible footwear and comfortable clothes suitable for the weather.
Free but small donations are welcome.

Conservation volunteering: Merstham Magpies
A practical conservation group for adults and young people over 16 and a great opportunity to enjoy the countryside and help protect it. Examples of activities include coppicing, small tree felling and scrub clearance. Tools, gloves, tea and biscuits are provided. The group meets on the third Saturday of every month.
