The Big Bang
Careers Fair 18 October, Harlequin Theatre Redhill
|
Starting at 9.30am,18 October at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill RH1 1NN
Big Bang and Surrey Chamber of Commerce are supporting this careers event being run by the Council at the Harlequin Theatre in Redhill. The event will showcase the great variety of local employment and career opportunities available to students of the borough. A number of major local employers have already been confirmed and are enthusiastic about the opportunity to broaden young people’s understanding of their career opportunities. Colleges, universities and training providers will also take part. The event will use the Harlequin to showcase the range of available options. Employers will be located together in one area, post 16 education and training providers in another, and apprenticeship options in the third. We are looking for local employers with live vacancies that can help demonstrate the vast range of career opportunities available in the area. We are particularly keen to highlight the importance of STEM subjects and skills (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) along with the most appropriate qualification routes for young people to follow to secure the jobs of their choice. If you are a local employer please register you’re interest and details with Simon Bland by email.
