The origins of Inner Art

First Steps

Katie Beth's first Inner Art Studio opened in 2017 and was tucked away on West Street in Reigate. It was affectionately named "The Hutch" and had surprisingly low ceilings plus lots of woodlice! Over a few years we grew from a team of one, to a community of like minded souls coming together to share our Art passion, and ourselves. Our range of Art Tuition services and student base expanded, and in turn we outgrew our first studio home.


 

New Developments 

With our Inner Artists patiently learning online during Covid lockdowns, 2020-21 became an opportunity for change. With luck on our side, our Inner Art Studio site on Somerset Road became our new home. Plenty of white emulsion paint and hand prints later, we reopened and welcomed Artists back for 'in person' learning at our brighter, lighter and inspiring new space.


 

Exciting Growth

Thanks to our wonderful Art community and amazing Inner Art Team we've improved, developed and diversified whilst ensuring Katie Beth's Inner Art Vision is at the core of what we do. Within our hometown Reigate we've created murals, teamed with ESDAS, worked in schools and for charities, and made connections with many wonderful local families and individuals. 


 

Enjoyment & Peace  

Inner Art continues to blossom including winning 'Social Impact' category at Reigate & Banstead Business Awards, and winning RBBC Entrepreneur Academy in 2022. It's a privilege to work as a team and celebrate success and progress together. Our understanding of people continues to deepen and we always remember that anything is possible, failures are welcome, and we create our own definitions of success! Art is not to be sought after but discovered within.
