Digital High Street Skills is a new, tailor-made training programme to help small businesses develop their knowledge of the internet and social media. So if you run a small businesses and want to reach new customers, it will equip you with the skills and tools you need to get your business online. You could also benefit from the continued growth in online sales.
This course is for you if you own or run a small business or are a new start-up, entrepreneur or sole trader wanting to improve you digital skills. You must live or run your business within the borough of Reigate & Banstead.
Free workshops
The three workshops are run by the Association of Town Centre Management (ATCM) and funded by the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS) and will help you to:
- improve your online presence and become more competitive
- find and engage with new customers
- increase your customer base
- widen your geographical reach
- access new markets
- improve sales and profits.
You can choose to do one, two or all three modules:
- Understand your customers and digital marketing – module 1
- Develop your business online – module 2
- Grow your business through social media – module 3
If you complete all three, you may be eligible to receive the iCQ Level 2 Award in Digital Marketing Using Social Media qualification.
