Launch of new Youth Hub in Redhill
Supporting young people into employment

A group of adults standing outside the ASG Community Centre entrance, arranged around a sign promoting the Redhill Youth Hub. The building sign is visible above the doorway, and the group is posed on the pavement in front of the centre during a daytime event.

Redhill Youth Hub is officially open! Support will be delivered in the heart of Redhill (hosted at The Asian Social Centre) with satellite offices in Caterham and Oxted. The Youth Hub will provide support to young people not in education, employment or training in the local area. By bringing together key partners, the Youth Hub will make a real difference to employment opportunities for young people.

The Youth Hub supports young residents aged between 18 and 24 claiming Universal Credit to meet job goals. They will be able to access on-site jobcentre support alongside mental health and housing support, skills and training opportunities, careers guidance and direct connections to employers with live job and apprenticeship opportunities.

This joint project between Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and Tandridge District Council has been funded by the Department of Work and Pensions and is delivered by Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership.

Celebrating Our Local Business Guilds

On the right are three photographs showing busy high streets and town centre scenes in Redhill, Reigate and Banstead, with shops, historic buildings and people walking along the pavements.

Local town centre guilds and business groups like Reigate Business Guild, Redhill Business Guild and the newly-established Banstead Business Group play an important role in the local economy, providing support, collaboration, representation and promotion of our high street businesses. If you've never been to a meeting of your local town centre group, get in touch as they are always happy to welcome new members.

Local business groups and guilds play a vital role in strengthening our economy and keeping our high streets vibrant. They bring businesses together to collaborate, share ideas and tackle common challenges and provide a powerful collective voice. By working together, members can raise awareness of local issues, promote town centres and support initiatives that benefit their wider community.

Together, they help create resilient, connected business communities that are better prepared to adapt, grow and thrive.

Current town centre guilds/groups include:
Reigate Business Guild
Redhill Business Guild
