Social housing provision

Reigate & Banstead is reviewing its policy on applications to the housing register and how homes are allocated. The housing register is a waiting list for affordable rented accommodation in the borough.

This is as a result of feedback from applicants and stakeholders, updates in legislation and guidance and the need to make the best use of the very limited number of social homes. The council is proposing a number of changes to the current policy and we would like to hear residents' views about these changes.

To read more about the changes and take part in the survey about the proposals, visit our webpage Consultation on the Registration and Allocations Policy. The survey runs until 19 February.
