Our new recycling service has proved a huge hit with 8 out of 10 residents* using it. We’re always looking for ways to encourage people to recycle more so we’re reminding everyone about our recycling banks across the borough that anyone can use.

So if you don’t yet have our recycling service at home, have more recycling than you were expecting or have items you don’t want but that we don’t collect, for example, textiles and books, then pop along to one of our recycling banks.

We also need to let everyone know that from April the number of these recycling banks is being cut down to 25 as traffic to some has fallen considerably since the new home collection service launched.
