Learning Lunch: Innovate or Die

Our guest speaker this month is John Bottomley from Int-Elect, the theme for his Innovation presentation is “Innovate or Die”. John will explain what Innovation and Open Innovation are all about and also why they are so vital in the modern business world. He will outline how the approach to innovation is changing and give some ideas on how you can adapt and embrace the change that is necessary to keep your business ahead of the competition and stay in business. He will briefly outline the “Inside the Box” concept. John trained as an electrical engineer working for both UK and International Utilities. He has worked in manufacturing for two US Corporations and a French multinational where he managed, technical, commercial and sales groups. He is also an experienced MD who has rationalised European acquisitions, linked to U.S purchases, as well as acquiring complementary European businesses. He is a trained business coach - mentor who has worked on Innovation and coaching programmes to assist SME’s commercialise their ideas. John has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Management for 39 years. The Learning Lunch will be held at Reigate Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate RH2 0SH between 12-2pm. Please note parking is not available at the council offices.
