Renewed Hope – The Big Sleepout 2022

Renewed Hope trust  are a local charity based in Redhill providing practical solutions and emotional support to the homeless, vulnerable and isolated of East Surrey. Support includes a drop in day centre, accommodation and a winter night shelter.

They are holding a community event on the theme of homelessness on Saturday 10 September 2022 at Old Reigatian RFC, Reigate.  You can choose between sleeping under a gazebo, in a tent or even under the stars. There will be a designated area for you to set up camp, with toilets and a water supply available.

Food (supplied by local businesses) will be available from 7:00pm, on a theme in line with the soup kitchens that have sprung up in towns and cities in response to the need.

There will be a bonfire and some entertainment throughout the evening, as well as spaces for games.

The event is for individuals, families, community groups, and teams from local businesses to take part in the day, or support it in any other way they fancy.
