Do you have a great business which is looking to start, develop or grow?

 

If your business is based in the borough, has fewer than five employees and not had a business support grant before, you could be eligible. Grants of up to £1,000 can be used to help fund new or improved equipment like machinery or tools through to IT and training. Simply fill in the online application, send us your supporting documents, and you will be invited in for a short interview to discuss your business ideas.

£1 million active travel competition

Are you a small to medium-sized businesses or non-governmental organisation? If so, you could bid for a share of £1 million in funding to deliver bold and innovative initiatives that enable more people to walk, wheel or cycle. Up to £100,000 available for successful bids

Active Travel England is excited to launch the new £1 million Active Travel Innovation Fund, with up to £100,000 available for successful bids from small to medium-sized businesses and non-government organisations to kickstart or scale up initiatives that enable more active travel.

Don't miss Round 2 of the Surrey Economic Growth Fund with Business Growth Grants of between £10k and £75k available to fund local businesses. You will need to apply quickly (funding round closes 16 November).

With £1.7 million available to small and medium businesses in Surrey, apply now to fund bright ideas to accelerate growth, boost innovation and create jobs. The Business Growth Grants provide match-funding of between £10,000 and £75,000. All projects need to be completed by March

It can be used towards:
- new equipment or technology
- developing new products or services
- expanding operations or facilities,
- investing in staff training and upskilling

Successful businesses will need to demonstrate how they will use the investment to deliver real benefits to the people, places and economy of Surrey.

The Finance Beyond Borders programme offers webinars, resources and a three-part email course to help businesses unlock global growth. When you sign up, you’ll be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a £1,000 grant!  Run by Enterprise Nation in partnership with Airwallex (a global payments and financial platform).

Run by Smalll Business Britain in partnership with BT, the Green Growth 100 will champion 100 forward-thinking small businesses who are successfully using sustainability to grow, inspiring more small businesses to take action on sustainability while driving profitability. From the top 100 businesses, two will receive a Green Growth Award - £5,000 grant each to help scale their sustainability ambitions.
