We’re pleased to be recognised as being Disability Confident Committed. We want to play a leading role in changing attitudes around disabilities for the better. We’ve agreed to the Disability Confident commitments and have recognised ways that we can be even more inclusive, enabling everyone of all abilities to be their best at Toyota GB. The commitments are: – Inclusive and accessible recruitment – Communicating vacancies – Offering an interview to disabled people – Providing reasonable adjustments – Supporting existing employees We’re already on the way to achieving level 2 and becoming a Disability Confident Employer. This focuses around two themes: – Getting the right people for your business – Keeping and developing your people It doesn’t stop there, we’re also a proud member of the Business Disability Forum which supports Toyota GB by promoting best practice and influencing our policies.

Toyota’s multi-path technology strategy for delivering sustained reductions in carbon emissions on the journey to ultimate carbon neutrality has helped secure two prestigious awards for the all-new Toyota C-HR. The Toyota C-HR Plug-in is the winner of the Best Hybrid in the Automotive Management (AM) Awards, while the Toyota C-HR range is AM’s New Car of the Year. Presented at a dinner hosted last night, the honours reward the model’s all-round qualities, from the technical excellence of its powertrains to the quality of its design and its adept application of advanced technologies. Tim Rose, AM Editor, said: “Our dealer readers are impressed with the Toyota C-HR as they voted for it to win a fantastic duo of awards. In plug-in guise, it has stand-out style, comfort and instant zip, and it’s frugal too. And no matter the powertrain, any C-HR stands out from the crowd with its cool looks, excellent real-world efficiency and a plush interior filled with tech that’s easy to use. It really shows the fun side of Toyota.” Stuart Sanders, Toyota (GB) Communications and Product Director commented: “The Toyota C-HR is a successful standard-bearer for our approach to achieving meaningful and lasting reductions in carbon emissions through multiple technology solutions. More than that, as these great awards acknowledge, we’ve made it a highly desirable proposition in terms of impactful design, advanced equipment specifications and extension of its Toyota Safety Sense systems to provide even higher levels of protection and assistance.” The second generation model of the popular coupe-styled mid-size SUV offers customers more hybrid powertrain choices with 1.8 and 2.0-litre full hybrids and a new 2.0-litre plug-in hybrid, creating a line-up that’s unmatched in its class. All three systems benefit from fifth-generation Toyota hybrid technology which maximises fuel and emissions efficiency while delivering smooth, responsive performance and enhanced all-electric EV driving capability #Toyota #Automotive #Hybrid #Award

It was a great weekend for TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe with a win in both the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the World Rally Championship (WRC). Toyota Gazoo Racing returned to winning ways and conquered a dramatic 6 Hours of Imola after an incredible team effort in the second round of the WEC. Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Nyck de Vries took a tense victory in the No7 GR010 Hybrid in changing weather conditions thanks to faultless driving and intelligent strategy on a day of twists and turns among the 19-strong Hypercar field. Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team snatched a one-two finish on the Croatia Rally, with Sébastien Ogier taking victory over team-mate Elfyn Evans. TGR-WRT maintain their 100 per cent winning record on the demanding asphalt which has been part of the WRC calendar since 2021. The stages around the Croatian capital Zagreb once more delivered challenging conditions and close competition, with less than 10 seconds separating the top two in the overall standings throughout the weekend. #ToyotaGAZOORacing #Toyota #Automotive
