Sustainability Tour of Canon HQ, Reigate

Part of the Utilise Plus events and grant funding programme.

3rd September 2019, 09:30 to 12:30, Canon HQ, Reigate, Surrey.

Join us for a Sustainability Tour of Canon‘s UK headquarters in Reigate, Surrey, held in partnership with Surrey County Council and Reigate & Banstead Borough Council. Canon works according to the philosophy of ‘Kyosei,’ a Japanese word meaning ‘living and working together for the common good.’ They put this into practice with their sustainability policy, targeting the social, economic and environmental aspects of it simultaneously. By 2020, they aim to double the number of remanufactured and refurbished hardware sold, survey 100% of their suppliers on their sustainability performance and deliver a 15% reduction in carbon emissions, to name a few. Hear from Bob Pickles, Head of Corporate and Government Affairs, on their progress and see their impressive headquarters on a behind-the-scenes tour. In addition to this, we’ll get a photography demo from one of Canon’s Ambassadors!

This event is part of the Utilise Plus programme and is fully-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). As such, only those from eligible organisations can attend.
