Coast to Capital business growth grants
The new round of funding is open from 14 November 2016 for spend between 1 April 2017 and 31 March 2018. The deadline for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) will be 24 September 2017. Expressions of Interest (EOI) from small and medium (SMEs) sized businesses that are looking to expand and to create new jobs but not finding it easy to source the finance required. Grants of up to 40% of a total project cost can be provided to applicants that meet the eligibility criteria, are located within the Coast to Capital Region and can demonstrate how the investment will lead to job creation and growth.

Its been a busy 2016
It has been a great year meeting so many local businesses, and working with our local partners to deliver support including:
- An Entrepreneur Academy, run at East Surrey College with great speakers including Morrisons Solicitors and Kingston Smith
- 2 Redhill & Reigate Business forums run with FSB, Surrey Chambers of Commerce, Morrisons Solicitors, Altus Maxwell Brown & Avocado Audio Visual
- 39 Business Support Grants awarded to local businesses
- 360 local school children visiting the Big Bang careers event at the Harlequin
- 1,582 local businesses registered on it's local database
- 6 Business Leaders meetings with large employers in the borough
- New Business Guild in Redhill established
- New Business Guild in Banstead established
- 10 Learning lunches with informative speakers
- 12 Business e-bulletins sent to around 2,000 local businesses people
- 5 two-day Let's start a business' courses for budding entrepreneurs at the Town Hall
