Reminder: “Councillors-All” Distribution List

4,600+ Friendly Reminder Stock Illustrations, Royalty-Free Vector Graphics & Clip Art - iStock A reminder that the “Councillors-All” email distribution list is for internal use only. Although individual councillor email addresses are publicly available, this group list should not be shared externally. When circulated outside the Council, it can result in large volumes of non-targeted emails being sent to all Members, making it harder to ensure enquiries reach the right local councillors.

£500,000 CIL funding awarded to vital community projects

Eleven projects have been awarded a share of £500,000 in Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) developer contributions for improvements to vital local facilities and services. Successful projects include a local refuge, Merstham Football Club, Salfords Village Hall, Horley Health Hub, local Scout groups, Innes Sports Pavilion in Horley and Redhill Brook flood alleviation and environmental education works at Carrington School. It demonstrates how CIL funds can make a tangible and positive difference to local communities. Bids for 36 projects totalling in excess of £5 million were received for the half a million pounds of CIL funding available to bid for in the summer.
