New Future Surrey newsletter and intranet

Hopefully you will have all received your first Future Surrey newsletter with links to the new intranet for members from all Surrey councils. The purpose is to keep you updated on all the developments as we go through Devolution & Local Government Reorganisation (D&LGR).

If you haven’t received, please check your quarantine folder – as we understand some have gone into there. The newsletter is from futuresurrey@comms.surreycc.info – so if you add that to your contacts, if should come directly in future.

You can expect to see updates on what’s changing, why it’s happening, and what it means for you – with clear and accurate information at every stage of the journey. We will also provide information you can share with residents to help explain the process.

This newsletter will link you through to our new Future Surrey intranet, specifically built and tailored for members. Here, you will find helpful information on D&LGR for you to access at anytime, including:

Key programme information

Latest news articles and newsletter archives

Member-specific FAQ

Toolkits for communicating with residents

You can also access the Future Surrey intranet using this link.

When you first visit the intranet, using the links in this newsletter, you may be asked to accept permissions, requested by Surrey County Council. Please be assured that you will only have to do this once.
