Anti Social Behaviour - Webinar for Elected Members
You are invited to attend a webinar to learn more about Anti-Social Behaviour. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) refers to actions or behaviours that cause, or are likely to cause, alarm or distress to others. To address ASB, various powers and tools are available to police, local authorities and other partner agencies, including those introduced through the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014.
Elected members can play a crucial role in ensuring the effective use of these powers within local communities and that victims and communities get the support and advice they need to feel safe where they live, play and work.
This online briefing session will:
- Advise you of the tools and powers in the ASB Crime & Policing Act 2014
- How Surrey works in partnership to tackle ASB
- What you can do as an elected member to support victims and communities
The sessions will be delivered by Jo Grimshaw, Head of ASB, Partnerships & Youth Engagement and Tactical Lead for Serious Violence, at Surrey Police. There are two sessions to choose from, please use the links below to register.
