The Council launched it’s revised ‘Where I Live’ public web service on Wednesday 25September 2024.  Available from the homepage and across the website, Where I Live allows residents to find information about local public services tailored to their property.

Along with information about next waste collection dates, planning applications, polling stations and more, users can also access maps showing rights of way, planning applications, listed buildings, etc.

The revised web service has been designed with mobile use in mind (65% of our website users are on mobile or tablet) to make it quicker and easier to access popular information (e.g. bin days).  Results for individual properties can now be bookmarked and re-loaded whenever required, without having to search for your address each time.

The new service emulates ‘gov.uk’ principles and best practise, offering improved accessibility, performance and integration.  It will be continually developed in line with user feedback and the Council’s Digital and Customer Contact aspirations.
