Mandatory Fraud Awareness Training

All staff and Members at RBBC must complete a 45 - 60 minute online training platform to ensure we all know where the risk of fraud is in our roles, and how we can report it if we suspect something is not right.

All staff and councillors will be enrolled to complete this mandatory training by 17 February 2025.

Please follow this link to complete the training: Interactive training session

Climate Change Fundamentals training

Tuesday 14th January at 6pm

This is an optional training course for members who would like to find out more about climate change and what we can do about it.

The training may be of particular interest to those councillors who were first elected in May 2024, but is open to any councillor who has not attended a previous Climate Change Essentials or Carbon Literacy training session.

Please RSVP by email to sustainability@reigate-banstead.gov.uk if you would like to attend. I have attached a short flyer that provides a bit more information. The training will be delivered by ThreePointFive.

Cycle to Work Scheme

The Council is fully supporting the Government's Cycle to Work initiative. We are pleased to let you know that this scheme is now available to Councillors in addition to staff. The value of the bike can range from £200-£1000. The cycle to work initiative gives you the chance to lease a bike for 12/24 months. Participants will pay back the amount from gross salary with an option to purchase the bike for a nominal sum at the end of the lease period.
