Huge congratulations go to Danielle Hardy from Dani Declutters who faced the 'dragons' to be named overall winner of the 2023/24 Reigate & Banstead Entrepreneur Academy! Congratulations also go to Matt Trudel from Truerr who was also selected by the judges for a share of the £5k prize. Highly commended by the judges were Will Sawney from Think Sideways Marketing and Andrea Aguirre from Cuyen Yoga who both won £1k each in Business Support Grants. Meeting the dragons and pitching their businesses was the culmination of a free, 6-month entrepreneurship support programme from Reigate & Banstead Borough Council in partnership with East Surrey College. It was great to host Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Partnership's visit to Horley yesterday. We saw the Horley Community Centre and the Horley Health Hub and talked about how we're working with the NHS, local residents and other organisations to improve wellbeing.

We are delighted to announce that the 2024/25 Business Support Grant allocation is now open! The Reigate & Banstead Business Support Grant provides up to £1,000 to businesses wishing to start, develop or grow. If you live in the borough or your business is based in the borough and you have fewer than 4 employees, you could be eligible. Grants can be used to help fund new or improved equipment like machinery or tools through to IT and training. Simply fill in the online application and send us your supporting documents.
