Dear Garden Waste member,

We are writing to advise of a recent change to the processing of Garden Waste (GW) Direct Debits at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.

There is no change to the amount or date you will pay for your annual subscription. However, you will no longer receive a reminder letter 3 weeks before the Direct Debit is collected.

From August 2026 a letter/email will be sent for each of the following circumstances only:

• A new service is requested and set up.
• A price amendment to your current service.
• An update to your existing Direct Debit details.
• Confirmation of your Service Cancellation as your Direct Debit payment was unsuccessful.
