600 local school children meet local employers at careers fair

Our latest Big Bang Careers Fair at The Harlequin on 9 October was a huge success, bringing together more than 600 students from local schools with 15 local employers to inspire the next generation of talent.

“Our students, as always, had to be coaxed out of the hall to the coach and all really enjoyed it.  I received two parental emails last night saying thank you for arranging it. Students shared their experiences at home which is always a very positive sign.”

Kathy Lambert, Raising Aspirations Co-ordinator, Oxted School

They were really inspired to see the wealth of opportunities available from local employers. Thank you so much to the schools and volunteers from East Surrey College who helped make this happen and to our our employers: Gatwick Airport, Pfizer, esure, Raven Housing Trust, Jellyfish, Osborne, East Surrey College, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, Bechtel Corporation, Kier Group, Sutton & East Surrey Water, ABL 1 Touch, East Surrey Hospital and VARB.
