Fairfax Avenue play area

Work is underway on improvements to the Fairfax Avenue play area on Cromwell estate, with the aim of reducing anti-social behaviour. The works respond to engagement with local residents, including at the community event last summer and follow up meetings with the Cromwell Community Group. A shelter, which had been a focus for ASB, has been removed and new benches will shortly be installed in more visible positions. New solar lights are in place to brighten up the area and increase feelings of safety. Five trees have been planted with wildflower seeds at their base to increase feelings of wellbeing.
